Just bought '91 Cafe Racer
A couple of weeks ago I bought a 1991 Cafe Racer, fulfilling a lifelong dream of owning a Cigarette. It's got 540s, A/C, and a genset. Needs a swim platform, some tweaks to the cooling system, and some good detailing.

Congratulations & enjoy!!.......I like the mostly all white hull & interior, was she always Fl. boat? how many hours on the 540's, what out drives?

Originally was sold to someone in England, came back to the US a few years later, then was a Great Lakes boat until 2012 or so. Prior owner brought it to Florida then, and had the 540s built in 2014. Due to a combination of factors, only 23 hours on the motors when I bought it last month. Unfortunately it's got Bravos. I am pretty conservative when it comes to running boats, so I am hoping to make them live a while. |

I had a lot fun drinking beer on it Saturday. Nice when someone else is captaining a boat. I'm sure it won't be the last time it happens as well.

Bonus find today - my boat is actually a Carbon 70. I found that the bilge is laid up with carbon fiber. Woohoo!

Congratulations! You'll love it. I miss mine. ...it took 3 years before I broke a Bravo (I was easy on it coming out of the hole, but I couldn't resist launching into the air as often as possible!)
