I talked to Mindi this morning about that boat and she made no mention of it being AM3. I even asked her about its whereabouts and she didn’t know. Then later in the day I spoke with somebody who informed me that AM3 is currently on a lift in NJ with its original paint.

I think you're right...Bunch of us were talking trying to figure out where the one above came from and I think we decided it was AMIII but now I just saw a pic of that boat above from a couple years ago, so obviously it isn't.

Still trying to figure out what the story on the one above it. Never saw it before it popped up for sale a month or so ago.

302Sport 07-30-2018 07:54 PM

Mindi said it came from California/Havasu. How many 1075 46’s were built with the newer style dash

Really?! Now I'm even more intrigued. Never seen that thing on Havasu or in So. Cal.

Says sale pending, you in or what? :D

302Sport 07-30-2018 08:07 PM

1MOSES1 07-30-2018 11:27 PM

I just did a google on AMIII...braceyourself owned it up until 2012. Where did it go after that?

Braceyourself owned AM2. John Elway however did own AM3 for a while. I have a pic somewhere of them nearly sinking it at the gas docks on the way down to KW when they sucked up a bunch of reeds and popped the strainers off to clean them out and couldn't get one of the caps back on. Water up to the stringers. We bought Elway and his crew a bunch of drinks to help 'em out and de-stress after. :D

For new style dash 1075 boats, heres what I know:

AM2 is in the midwest somewhere
AM3 is in a lift in Jersey
Helios is now a 1350 boat
Orange boat, used to be twisted i think, just redone, sold recently
Red/white/silver boat at dollar is under deposit
There was a beautufil orange/black/white 2007 or newer 1075 boat in Italy that was for sale last year at 180,0000 Euro. Dont know what happened to it. https://www.inautia.com/used-boat-27...710010045.html

Any others out there?

bburgessz71 08-01-2018 07:27 AM

jbraun2828 08-01-2018 10:20 AM

Damn, that’s cheap for a 39’ with 850s. Don’t know the condition or hours, but wow...

Drock78 08-09-2018 04:42 AM

Yeah it is for a reason. Needs 50k in paint and interior to make it something the average person would want.

Average Person!

Nothing average about the performance! 50k is a stretch, but even with that added in, a great boat at 240k.

PS - Dream on Brother! LOL!

Drock78 08-09-2018 09:18 AM

For a full paint job, interior and miscellaneous for everything to match the new paint, 50k is pretty realistic actually. 39's are sweet no doubt, I did not say that it was average. But its priced the way it is because no one wants it the way it sits.

I'll keep dreaming and just maybe I'll be cool enough to grace a Cig t-shirt. LOL

50k!

Bud , All good! - Just bustin' your cookies a little! Paint and interior is subjective for sure. At 100 mph, no one can see the pink, embrace it. LOL You are probably ok with the shirt any way! That 46' is tasty!

You rebuild the engines yet? And still one of the best looking 39 ever built (save for that swim platform) :)

No sir, we did top ends (lifters, rockers, springs, etc) right when I got it back in March 2017. Put about 50 hrs on them. Motors are still runing so strong. You are correct, it is one of the best if not the best looking 39 around. You and Phil did one hell of a job on this one. BTW, love the pics of your new one.

2 at performance boat center and then a few on the fb page. Passion for powerboats

:)

Madman7 10-19-2018 11:01 AM

I'd take a hard look at the one out of Grand Haven MI. I'm sure some if not most of the boat history would be well known by others on here... When I was looking for mine, it seems everyone that owns these 39's know one another. The price is a little higher than what you were looking to spend, but not by much.

If you're not on FarceBook let me know and I'll take some screen shots and send them to you.
