I think I may have said this a few pages back but if I had the opportunity to redo a cabin, I’d do it like Phil does his with the basic benches between the cabin door and first bulk head and then through a zipper two lay down lounges and a porta-potty / changing room. Or even instead of the lounge beds, finished storage area. I dig that set up. Little more user friendly than just a vee birth bed.

All that bright white is scary.
Could we go on and get ahead of the issue by doing a “greasy hand print” vinyl? |

Tank what boat is that from? looks sick
the lounges with the porta potty in the middle is the blue 50 Phil built. The seats is a 42x I believe. |
I’m going to go with something like the second picture this boat is going to be strictly business. I’m looking for a wave cruiser that is solid and doesn't rattle around and runs 90 those are my goals lol

Another vote for Pearl!
Awesome work you are doing, been following thread since you started. Really cool to see the progress... and terrifying at the same time :lolhit: |
Thanks !!! Yes this has been a wild ride of ups and downs Covid didn’t help sir to the fact you can’t buy parts because you know plastic and metal gets Covid…..that’s for another day. Everything is backed up the simplest part takes months to build and such on. But it’s making progress I still find myself getting agervated from time to time with how slow it’s going but I’m doing everything on my own. One thing this project had thought me is I’m not afraid to take on any task of the restoration at this point if I mess it up o well I’ll sand it off and try again. Found a local guy to get VE resin from so I was able to finish up all the glass. Hoping to put in the new dash pods and door this weekend. That will be a nice thing done. Then I can move on to wiring .
