If anyone has the low down on where I can find these, please let me know. I've reached out to LipShip and she said they don't have them. Thanks in advance |
IMHO, you don't want them. People fall on boats, fact. We've all done it. We've all seen it.
If you want something your passengers can hold on to as such, install some nice upholstered straps from the under the seat bottoms, that you can also tuck away when not needed. |

Looking to replace the material straps with these for my Skater. A buddy of mine has these handles in his 42x and I always liked them and thought they were comfortable. I know what you mean I'd hate to take one in the ribs...lol I'm thinking of making them removable so if I wanted to take them off I could make a decorative cover to hide the mounting bolts.

Just my opinion but when I redid my interior, I replaced my rear seat metal grab handles with grab straps sewn into the seat bottoms. After 10 years with the metal handles, my passengers and my wife had more bruises, jammed fingers, etc. than I could count.

Local Machine shop should be able to design them up and machine a set for you. That's my world, it's not difficult That being said I like the bling as much as the next guy and the CNC works of art. Admired them same as you, but it the back of my mind from a safety stand point wondered if Skater straps are the safer option? When your running at full song, things happen Anyone ever get hurt with those handles? Seems they could impale a person in a number of places let alone your melon etc. Anyways just my thoughts |
I always thought they would be great if you could make the round D handles that would disconnect without tools and be able to be stowed if you didn't want them. The straight dildo sticking up would concern me for someone getting hurt....hell some boat wench may make a mistake in the dark and break a tooth.
