lol yeah true. It really is never done. But there was a small list I wanted to get done when I picked it up and this was one of the big ticket items. So, that’s nice to check the box.

Not sure if you've talked about your Whaler on here already....but that thing must move along pretty good with that 90 Merc on the back no?! The kids must have a blast with it! Or is it still too much for them to take without you aboard....

gonna run it out to the Channel Islands to see the painted cave (big cave you can drive into on Santa Cruz Island. If the kids don’t use it much this summer or next or they get burned out on it, I’ll sell it. My 16 year ild
loves it though. He’s getting some fishing gear for his birthday this week.

trailer refurb is done. Haven’t seen it in person but sure looks good on video. Here’s some stills from the video.

the built a new ladder and bow stop, extended the tongue and added 25k hitch, added a bunch of LED running lights and swapped out existing lights to LED, installed “runway lights” to light boat from underneath in white, sand blasted and painted red, removed the BUTT UGLY EOH unit that stuck up and hid it on a new rail mounted storage box that also holds a battery for the lights when you’re not hooked to a truck. Over the summer they redid all new bunks and had new tires, disc brakes and hubs installed before it came out from loto. So, brand new trailer. Adrenaline Trailers on lake Havasu did the work and they are absolutely at the top of their game. They do fantastic work. Same team that did the cafe trailer ladder and bow stop.

Trailer looks awesome. The bow ladder makes it easy for the rest of the family to get up there and clean lol.

My only note would be to bring those tie downs for the stern out, or in more so they don’t wrap around the tabs.

and yeah, it’s always a problem with the tie downs. Been that way on all three of our cigarettes. Unless you have a drive guard to extent the tie downs back, there’s really no way to address this. can’t really cross them in an x pattern either because the tab and the drives get in the way (not to mention on my particular trailer the center portion juts in.

I don’t crank down on them super hard to put huge pressure on the tabs. Micro fiber towels to not mess up the paint. My thought is I just want to keep the rear end of the boat jumping up over big bumps on the freeway and help with a catastrophic failure / crash. Never had an issue with it on any of the boats so far. Fingers crossed. :D

yes, sir! Spray whole boat exterior and trailer down with salt away. Get the drives and bell housing real good. Spray engine compartment down the. Flush both motors. Also, I spray the trailer down at the ramp with salt away after launching. Ol trick I learned from running with member Kevin Schulte long long time ago. Flush flush flush. Kill that salt!!
