I used my same hitch I’ve always had but put it in the lowest setting. Thought I may have to get a different drop hitch but it’s pretty level. I think it’s a 6” drop. I’m still going to bring the truck down 3.5” and just do a leveling kit on the 35’s over this 6.5” lift. It’s still too big for my wife to drive. Difficult to see out the front, etc. and since she drives the truck daily, gotta have her comfortable in it.you can’t really tell in pics but the hood right now sits probably 5’6” tall.

To tell you the truth with those tires I think it has to much clearance anyway, would look better with taller tires or drop the truck a little.
this is will be how it’ll sit. Same lift on 35’s. Goes in next week. https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...bd2411355.jpeg https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...7597915a5.jpeg |
That makes sense, it will look good. Great price on the 6" lift I am sure you will not have a issue selling.

Ours is a late year model 2024 3500 (newer grille and dash). But I will definitely look into it. I freakin love the thing so far. Can’t believe how nice it tows. And minimal ass sag too. I was worried o was gonna have to put bags on but it seems to be fine and rides great!
edit: I just googled it and it does say the recall extends into 2024 models but I plugged my vin into the GM recall website and it doesn’t list any pending recalls. Shows a couple recalls that were addressed last year (computer issue and a trailer brake controller issue). It may have a completely different transmission than the 2500. From a MFG standpoint, I wouldn't think so. From a usage standpoint, I could definitely see the 3500 having a more robust transmission. I really don't know. Thanks. Brad. |
