Elusive 24
Well 2maro I pick up this very rare 1983 24 cigarette with with the "faceted" windshield. I've heard that there were very few made (a handful ) with this windshield, maybe someone can shed some light on this. Congrats! Great boats. Not sure how many were made. I don't think I've seen your's before. I'll have to dig out my list or I seem to remember it on a thread here on OSO as some point we were up to 11 or 12 and that may have included the Firefox's. At one point on one of the lakes I used to boat on there were five 24's and one 20' just on that lake. Maybe someone will chime in with a better count.

A dime a dozen Cigarette...
Congrats to both such a fantastic looking and supposedly nice running boat. Strangely enough, I've never been in a 2nd generation 24 Cigarette, but no wonder, they're everywhere! Don made supposedly at least a handful of them. Almost as many as the later Firefox version. :) Can't wait for signature 78CIG24 to chip in. (Photos courtesy of him).

Sorry to hear you did not get the boat. Do you remember what the hull number was? I have a 1985 24 flat deck that is hull number 36.
