Top Gun Sun Pad Construction

Hey all. Looking to replace a missing deck pad on a Top Gun. Apparently the old one detached in tow. I'm sure someone here has replaced one before? I assume the base is constructed from marine grade 3/4" plywood? Any advice is appreciated.

I think I saw one on Powerboat Swap Shop not to long ago. Might want to check it out. Also, I would make mine out of COOSA board, light weight, durable and no rot. Can be built to hold the load and still save some weight. Just 2 Cents.

Not sure of your year but on my 02 I don't think there is any wood in the sun pad. Maybe some Masonite or something really thin to form it with

Not exactly sure of the name, but when mine was re-done they used a PVC/Plastic polymer type of material.
