All I remember was seeing it in Poker Runs America Mag back in 99 or 2000... Pretty sure it was owned by Don Ory from Louisiana back then... You could try asking Tres. I think I remember hearing there was some sort of family connection..

I went with the friend of mine that bought the boat, and he is not on OSO yet. Met the guy he bought it from, great guy and very knowledgeable about the mechanics of the boat. I am just looking for some Cig history of the Hawk KV's for him. He also is a good mechanic and will take good care of it, so hopefully this classic will stay on the water for many more years!

I read somewhere that Hawk owned Cigarette at one time, it this why you refer to it as such ?? does it have Hawk engines in it ?
|
I may be mistaken but I thought it still had the Hawk flame arrestors on it but they are not the original Hawk motors, they are 600 cid tall blocks now, so it may not have been Hawk powered, hard to tell.

That Cig is definitely Kevlar. I was in the boat approx 20 years ago, with Buddy, when the cabin was still gutted.

I was wondering why it does not have the old cig cabin design, who ever did the cabin did a nice job.

That is the old cabin design. They changed it in the early 90's...
