We’re now a 2 cigarette family.
Daughter and her husband just picked up this 33 open. Stumbled on the deal. I told them to buy it and flip it since it was such a good price and they’re in the middle of restoring two scarab sports already. However, my daughter (who was raised on cigarettes and loves them) was like, no, we’re keeping this. Went and picked it up this morning and wow! It’s basically immaculate. Come to find out original owner built
it in 98 and garage stored its whole life! 300 hours on the Merc 250 offshores. Stereo, tv all Bells and whistles. Pictures don’t do it justice. gonna go hit the islands tomorrow. https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...920dcbb3d.jpeg https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...7bb608ceb.jpeg https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...f56b73071.jpeg https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...8a7ca9314.jpeg https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...b4253b491.jpeg https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...f1d75cd00.jpeg https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...2329b0865.jpeg https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...12c6359a7.jpeg |

Congrats to the entire family.....
That's a great layout.... |
Nice, congrats! Is that the only 33' with that paint job? If so, I am pretty sure I saw it on Long Island years ago. I'll try and find a photo of it.

Post #8, pic 1 pretty much sums up your daughters pride in ownership!
Cool to see the whole family hyped up on the new acquisition |

LOL I'm already getting crap about that. Talking to my daughter and SOL about it actually. If we do it'll be one or the other. But hoping to make it happen.
Heck just the road trip there and back would be awesome |
Love those, I will see how I like the CC thing and move on from there, the 302 will do the job for now...

I knew the 302 Scarab is a good riding boat for a smaller center counsel and they're fairly affordable so I went with that my body has had a couple of them and I always told him how good I thought it was for a small boat, hoping to do the reliability thing here lol these pics are 2/3 of what I have broken the rest I never got pics of... made the decision real easy, hurts because I absolutely love my top gun but every time I go out and start beating it up Something Happens and if you can't beat on your offshore boat I don't want to own one. I just feel like I'm throwing more money at it than I'm comfortable doing. https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...eb345d84c.jpeg https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...596d6407c.jpeg |

You know, those days when you just want to take a boat ride for lunch....and then blow some chit up! :angry-smiley-044::picard1:https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...219667ca2.jpeg

Definitely most of these boats are wet mops, Mines rocksolid besides the soft spot over the gas tank by the council which is very common and a very easy fix, i'll deal with that over winter otherwise this thing is great A friend of mine did what you guys did completely go to the boat 100% and start it over, it's a beautiful boat now

Excellente' !!!
