just purchased first cigarette boat 35 cafe and looking for info
just purchased 35 cafe was in catawba Ohio , I know it was in jersey before that I wonder if any one nows who or what is in these engines internally I will post pics as soon as I have enough post

Friend of mine just sold it this spring, he was the guy from Jersey. He had the motors rebuilt last year. I don't know all the details on the rebuilds, put if you want, shoot me an email, and Ill get you in contact with him. [email protected]

As Tank said the original owner was a member when it was being redone. I remember seeing the progress posted, I suggest digging into the cig or fiberglass repair forums

1989 I am thinking of doin cmi headers but I have heard there is not much performance difference then if I blow a bravo I'm going imco on it I know its a lot to spend on a boat of that age but I have wanted a cig for long long time now

id skip the CMI’s. ours leaked and I’ll never go back. Save the money for imco’s |

Don't fix it if it isn't broke. You'll enjoy it at 70-75 mph, just as much as you will at 80-85 mph. good looking boat.
