Cigarette 28 SS clones
Hi,
I've started to look at the 28 SS as my next boat. There are not many where I live, but one of them seems really nice. The funny thing about it is that it seems to be a "clone" - a splash from a genuine original 28 SS. It doesn't even have a HIN starting with "CRT", but it starts with "NYZP..." and so on. Does anyone know what company might have made this "copy"? (The HIN ends with 86, so I guess that is the production year...?) Any information regarding these 28 SS clones would be greatly appreciated! |
You sure about the P, all the HIN's I saw were 3 letters |

Does anyone know what company might have built a Cigarette 28 clone? I recall someone talking about a company called "Raven boats" a few years back, and another one called Lebear or something like that... Anyone who knows anything about these companies?

I'm not sure what your location is, or how complete you want a boat, but I know where a project 28SS is located and the price is reasonable.
