I want to put a mahogany floor in my boat but surely it must get slippery when wet with thr nice gloss finish how don’t you slip.
is it hard to install

its very slippery thats why its almost always unfinished teak thats not affected by water

My Playboy was VERY slippery FYI. And got extremely HOT. However it looked as cool as it gets

They do make an EVA Foam teak look alike you can putdown and have a soft non slip floor :D

It definitely gets very hot, but looks really cool. I keep shoes, that I only wear in the boat, to mitigate that and slipping, and lots of towels helps too. If I was starting from scratch, I would do the synthetic versions as suggested above.
