Is it the ‘f-word’ that you’ve never heard in that context?
I’m an Aussie and we grew up with a mix of influences from America and tne U.K. So we kinda understand colloquialisms from a few regions. (But we missed out on most of your boats. :mad: ) Old joke about an English guy visiting America and asked someone if he could “….bum a f**”. The American replied, “Sure, bum as many as you like”. Pretty funny, all the british people probably wondering why ya'll are running around with a bunch of ***s and even funnier that the website censors ***s like who's the *** with his butt hurt that wasn't already hurting from hanging out with his ***got friends.

Calling cigarettes f ags has been around for I don’t know like a century at least. Has nothing to do with sexual preference or slur.
