Imcos with #6 shaft
 

Have a friend who is thinking of going with a #6 prop shaft on his IMCO`s. 39 staggered .. how big of a prop could he put on and is that a good idea? How would that run with a deep drive?

SCX’s or SCX-4’s? Where are the propshafts in relation to the bottom?

Not sure how deep they are .. however Cig rigged the bravos from factory Im guessing .

With no spacers max diameter is 17” on the scx-4, 16-3/4” on the scx. I have 1/2” spacers in mine and run 17-1/4 diameter. My propshafts are 2” above the bottom of the boat. Runs on rails. Obviously props are much more expensive but it’s worth it imo.

How much power is he running per side, as you well know prop pricing for a #6 shaft get pricey

Pretty much all the 700 sci 39’s run a 34/17 or 35/17. Not sure of his power level

stage 3 700`s ..

Someone need #6 shafts? I have a couple. :D

Tank there is someone in the wanted section looking for prop shafts....
