has anyone heard if Cig is doing another "Owners Weekend" in May?

Steve, I had asked Neill when I was in Miami. He said that with the factory moving and all there will not be a reunion this year.

So, is anyone up for an East Coast Gathering? There's a CIg dealer near Annapolis - maybe they'll help out?

BUMMER.... I wasn't runnig last year and now no Cig thing this year...have cig will travel....and it's easy to tow.....

Here's my general thoughts:
We've seen interest from people from Maine (Biggus) to Florida (Nasty). The site should be somewhere inbetween, and convenient to the highways (I95). I was suggesting the dealer in Md because they might be able to help us track down ramps, slips, and places to stay. I'd be happy to work something out here in Richmond, but we're two hours (by boat) from "big water". The Norfolk/Va Beach area might be another area where I have contacts that can help with arrangements. What do you all think about starting a thread on the main board to gauge interest?

They're willing to work with us to arrange something. May 2-4 is good for them, and they also said July had some open dates. I have our RPBA Poker Run to put on July 19th but I'd be open for other dates.

The area where Offshore Performance is has a lot to do. Many of us have heard of Red Eyes Dock Bar and their infamous Sunday afternoon bikini contest.

In any case, I'm going to move over to the gen disc forum to see how many would be interested.

I do believe im free that weekend from any other activities. Id just have to check out my work schedule at the firehouse.

How is the weather down there that time of year ??

I always launch my boat April 1st. I can't promise 80 and sunny, but I don't think you'll need a snow suit either.

My post on the general discussion board about this has bombed. Not a single response....

Spring will be very hard for me........But.......I sure will try !
