cigs on LOTO

Is it just me, or have there been a lot of additional Cigarette's there lately. Seems like they are almost as many as there were fountains.

BLee 07-01-2003 02:12 PM

I saw TONS of them up there. It's like looking at endless beautiful women. It never gets old.

BigDaddy96 07-01-2003 11:48 PM

Bill - We have a new '94 TG at the Palisades this year too. I put a pic of it up on the cig legend thread last week.

Von Bongo 07-03-2003 09:57 PM

Ain't no where as many cigs as Fountains. Fountains and Baja's up a storm here.

There are quite a few cigs but #1 has to be Baja then Fountain.

Tbonepmp 07-07-2003 12:14 PM

I agree w/ VB!!!!!!!!

WRedmann 07-07-2003 02:35 PM

I agree too, more formulas also. Im just noticing a lot more this year than previously. The Black Thunder ranks seem to be swelling also.

BTW, who has the cig that is an all red hull with a large vertical white stripe up the middle. He was running a lot of boats last weekend, even got a hold of the OSO member with the black playboy cigarette.

GLH 07-07-2003 07:21 PM

In our lake it's real easy we were in the water having a pop Friday at one beach, 7 Performance Boat owners yappin;
6 Fountains (1-38, 2-35,3-29)
1 Cig

I've been on the lake since 1988, I have seen 1 Cig and about 100 Fountains not many Formulas over 35 either here. Of course we are in the friggin Artic Circle here!

I sold my 35 Cafe to a gent that runs it & lives there in LOTO . . a 1991 with Carbon 70 graphics in Teal and Pink, with a race hatch and full CMI exhaust . . .

anybody seen it around ?

Yeah, he got me. I did have a full bag of fuel and three people (that were giving me the evil eye for racing) on board though:rolleyes:
That is a nice rig, it looks good. Maybe next year the results will be different!;) ;)

WRedmann 07-08-2003 11:01 AM

summero, you gave him a good run.

Just before you a scarabb did not do too well, he pulled into our docks and was loaded down with at least 5 girls (probably 14 year olds) and a few adults. I can only imagine the "look" he got from a few of the timid ones.

Hey Doug ! How are ya !

Glad its still treating you well . . have you done anything to it these last few years, like change the paint or upgrade / downgrade the motors ? I do miss that boat ! Yeah, I'm boating up here again, I have a 29 Donzi express cruiser right now. Got an itch to get a Cig again though . . let me know if you decide to put it up for sale at any time.

Maybe I'll drag my express down to LOTO for some boating, never boated there. Looks and sounds like fun.

Von Bongo 07-11-2003 08:10 AM

His shop is just up the road from my house, I get to see a lot of boats up close when I go home for lunch, he has been working on a nice 38zx Donzi and a couple of the water patrol Challengers. He must do good work because there is never a lack of boats there.

WRedmann 07-11-2003 03:15 PM

Hey lil cig,

made you post!!

How often are you on LOTO. I get there at least 2 or 3 weekends a month and if I am not on the boat I am on the deck watching the action between 16 and 13 mile markers. Quite the race track there!

lil cig 07-14-2003 01:24 PM

WRedmann-

I agree with the race track, we are at the 13. One cove to the dam where new condos are going in. You in PortaCima(sp?)....got a friend over there with a Gun.

Big Poker Run this weekend.....you going? It is the GoChickeGo guys and there will be some quick boats.

WRedmann 07-14-2003 03:29 PM

No, Im in Palisades condo, across the cove from the Porto Cima development.

No poker runs for me, my boat is too slow and my probable list of passengers is even slower yet

Von Bongo 07-14-2003 06:30 PM

Real nice Skater in Dan's lot today..kind of a german name on it, very nice looking, bout a 32 or 36

lil cig 07-15-2003 11:00 AM

WRedmann-
No biggie on the fast boats, they make it real fun.....third place is usually the worst hand so everyone competes the whole time....you get your card as you go and you know what you have. They have it under very good control. Last year we started out at BWJ and went to Dicks and then all the way back....it is a good time!!!

BLee 07-15-2003 03:01 PM

You guys need to bring those Cig's to this
