dhlaw 10-25-2003 12:22 PM

It looks like it fits your boat much better than it did mine. I wasnt able to pull it up onto the bow roller that is why I had the other receiver installed.

A little off topic, but my nomination for the world's ugliest Cigarette cabin.....

SummerObsession 10-26-2003 09:06 PM

Oh yeah, it's got 496 HO's and this , ahem, beauty :p can be yours for only 179,000.

Or you could have a REAL Playboy with 500 efi's for that much.:D :D :D ;)

Sorry but I just thought it was kinda funny. The outside is typical beautiful Cig, though.

Biggus 10-27-2003 05:27 AM

That must be the Patron rum 35 Playboy??

funky for sure

I'm not trying to be an *ss about it, just my opinion.
Like I said, the rest of the boat is nice!:D ;)
Sorry if I offend anyone. Whatever floats your boat, so to speak.:p

No they were built by Hi Tech sport boats in long island also they were licensed and built by Betty Cook out in California. (Betty also built the mini cougar cats)

Sean 10-31-2003 10:30 AM

which one do you have stinger? betty built or hithech?

HiTech also built a larger version of the mini hawk...

stinger312 10-31-2003 10:45 AM

I have a hi tech , the larger boat was the super sport 18

Dangerous Dave 10-31-2003 11:12 AM

I also have a Mini-Hawk built by Hi Tech. It's an '85 and I've had it since it was new. It's sitting there waiting for my wife to have kids then I'll give it to them. I did not know Hi Tech made an 18. Do you have any pictures of it?

fastlane40 11-10-2003 02:18 PM

Don't know if you guys want to know this.In Australia we have our very own version of a cigarette. The owner of Fastlane marine had a mate with a 38 top gun.Took a print of the bottom and made his own top.Called the fastlane 40 and made 65 between 86 and 94.Beautiful boat with fantastic ride and manners due to the bottom. If anybody can tell me how to put pics on this board i'll give it a go.

Here is mine. 1982 38 flatdeck twin 600's. I bought
mine because I have kids and wanted a solid boat
with a great ride. The bonus is resale value!!! Besides
the fact I told myself when I was seven years old and
saw my first Cigarette that I would one day own "1".

stecz20 11-11-2003 04:16 PM

very nice flatdeck...

I've got tons of em. Here's a couple. It's got tons of room to hang out in. Down below, let's just say you could crash there for the night if you had to, or you could spend a quality 20 minutes there if you wanted to.

Now running a single HP500.
