Speed of Guns???

I was wondering how fast a non step top gun went with 500efi's and 600sc's?

From my observations, I would say with a Covergirl cabin:

500EFI - 70-72 mph

600HP - 78-80 mph

Maybe drop 2 mph for a full cabin boat.

You may want to check the Lipship website, speeds are posted with boats available and sold, all ranges. One would sure presume Phil knows as well as anyone. He is showing 38's non step @ 78.

I had a non stepped 1994 Top Gun with 600sc it ran 72-74 on good day. I put 975Hps in and it ran 92-95 best we ever saw low on everything. It was the full cabin setup.
