Removing Top Gun "eyebrow"

1 Attachment(s)
Need help, Iam getting ready to pull the "eyebrow" off from around the front of the cockpit.

I haven't really dug deep into the projet yet but I am pulling it off to change the color, as you will see in the picture it NEEDS to be changed. (sorry craig):p

I am looking for tips to make it easier for me.

Thanks,

Dan

The 'eyebrow' is held on by those plastic ribbed push in fasteners. You can use an automotive window crank removal tool, some wide blade screwdrivers and some rags. Start by removing the two ends closest to the transom and work forward. The underlayment is pretty fragile, so you'll have to be carefull and take your time. We put all new fasteners on ours before re-installing.

Wait till spring and find the biggest wave you can and stuff it! Ive seen it happen a few times.

Whats wrong .... you don't like the "Brougham" edition ??? That was only available for a few years ... removal may effect your "collectability'":D

OC,

Thanks I had heard that they were fastened that way but did no of anyone who actually took one off.

Since I run a body shop the tools and the fasteners are close at hand!! that's awesome news thanks.

LJ,
