New Paint.... sort of
 

I took my boat to GrafikEFX to have some dock scratches from last season taken out. After delivering the boat to Chris he pointed out that there were some tiny bubbles in the clear coat due to moisture in the spray gun at the time it was sprayed by Dave Hunter. (Dave is an excellent painter!!) I was told that the only way to properly repair this was to take off all of the old clear coat down to the paint and start over..... so I agreed. After taking of the clear he made some scratch repairs and shot new paint. The new paint looked so good that we decided to repaint the the whole boat in the same graphics just slightly different colors. End result was a brand new paint job and I cant believe what good work these guys do. The boat looks better than the day it was new!!!

It took three weeks and about 8 grand give or take a few hundred. Some of the costs were related to having the bottom polished and some water stains removed.

That paint really makes that Top Gun stand out nicely!

I keep my latest plane in the other half. Its a 2004 Citation x750 that goes almost mach 1. Pretty nice plane, we use it to vacation and fly in family. Maybe I will scoot down and grab you and Spitfire for a quick tour of the Bahamas!!!

Well since Spitfire has annointed me as resident wealthy guy I thought I would add a few "imaginary" items to my hangar!! I assure you that there is not a 20 million dollar aircraft in my hangar or that baby would be at the pawn shop so I could buy more Cigs!!

I actually share my hangar with the local newspaper. They use it as a staging and assemby point for distribution and work all night. My boats are partitioned off by a 8 foot chain link cage that locks just in case.......
