Anyone familiar with this Top Gun?

It looks very clean. 1995 Lip-Ship edition, kevlar hull with Mercury 502's. The add says 70 MPH, is that about right? If this boat is in mint condition, whats it worth?
Asking $99,000.
How much more, is a kevlar hull worth? How much fastter is it? Is a Lip-Ship edition Cigarette worth more, if so how much?

Thanks, Kirk

1) edit: SEE BELOW INFO :D
2) 80ish would score you a deal, but if at any figure higher than that you feel its a good deal , thats all that matters. I dont know this particular boat.
3) Cigarette at one time charged $10,000 additional to lay up a mild powered hull in Kevlar, resale wise maybe 2,000 on a mild power boat
4) a normal FB TG with that power will see 63-65 mph
5) some, but how much is open speculation based on what exactly Phil did in that particular boat. Early on, it was basic cosmetic items with little to no paintwork involved.

These are my opinions, and mine alone.

I think B4M is closer to speeds, IMO. We have a 91 Gun Carbon Fiber, which weighs less than Kevlar, with 525 SC and we see 72 MPH. The 502EFI are 415HP. Also, did you notice how that boat sits on the lift?? :(. Did you check this one out? http://adcache.boattraderonline.com/6/9/0/67090290.htm

If that boat does 70 I'm Mary Poppins.

More like 62-64 max.

I'm basing my comments on experience with a FG 1997 TG with carb'd HP500's that ran 67-68 mph in the right water. Every boat can be different though.

Carbed hp 500 are 470 hp at the prop.

Those 502's are 415 at the prop 110hp less.

DOH ! :o my bad.

For some reason, I had 390 prop in my mind for the HP500's . .

Thanks for the correlation.
