Re: Beep!

Check your temp gauge.....if you sucked a bag over the water intake it could cause your temp to rise and set off the alarm.....personal experience.....

Drive oil level is low if gauges are fine all you Einsteins.

And, screw the top cap in off the left turning drive it's about to go, check the other one also while your there.

Our drive oil was okay. We did end up doing an oil change today. It was cool. I learned a lot.

Not an Einstein G.....just a possibility....it is easy to miss, I believe the alarm is set to go off at 200 or 205......it was just a thought...

Sorry about the "Einstein" comment all, it was not waranted...
200-205 would be Water Temp Spit?
I think my rig the buzzer is for water temp, oil press. and drive oil level.
SOme more informed person might want to chime in.

That's what I wanted to know. What on the boat would make a Beep so I can cover all bases next time it should happen...

GPS when you get near a preset waypoint?
It does in the airplane anyway but I don't set waypoints in the boat, just a WAG.

If you've got a depth gauge that has an alarm set it can beep and sound like the Mercury warning horn.
On the outboards the Mercury horn sounds when you hit the rev limiter, doesn't it do that on some of the I/O's?

We do have a depth gauge. I'll take a look next time. What's a rev limiter? And I/O's?

The two big things that you have to feed gas too under the hatch that flew away. It also incorporates the big black stuff sticking out the rear of the boat with shiny propellers attached to them.

Hope this helps. :D:D:D
