Need quick help
 

I am considering a 2001 35 playboy cig, t/s with hp 500's. Was wondering how they ride and handle the water, also what top speed i can expect. I own a 35 fountain executioner right now and would like to know how much of an upgrade is the cig. I am 6'1" tall and find the executioner's driver area cramped. Will the cig be bigger at the helm? Any help would be appriciated........Thanks in advance

The Cig will be a huge step. Really.

The 35 Ex, as you know, is a relitively short bottom boat. The Cig will ride much better due to hull length...mainly.
Yes, the cockpit will be bigger, and deeper.

35 PBs are rare, so you'll definately be different.
You'll be a happy guy. :D

I was told a couple of weeks ago that boat had been sold, it belonged to a buddy of mine here in Grand Haven. It's a sweet ride,Steve.

I owned a 2001 Playboy for a few years. The boat handled rough seas great, I got 83 on a fresh water lake. I put 30" labbed bravo's and had great acceleration. The Cig is much taller at the helm than a Fountain.

All I Can Say Is How Can Ya Wonder, We All Know That The 35 Cig Is A Better Boat Then The 35 Fountain ( 32) Anytime Any Day

I love the boat, put in a gps speedo and saw 84 already with 30 labbed props that came with it. I am hitting the rev limiter so i am going to try stock 30's and have the ones i have bent up some. I had the boat deliverd on a Friday and dropped it in. in the dark Friday night. Woke up the next morning and ran a poker run. what a difference, it was a blast to do a poker run the first day out. . I was changing boats every year and now i know why my friends said stop fooling around and get a Cigarette......There is a difference !!!!!!!!

Started with a 24 foot Chaparell with a 454, then went to a 23' cobalt 350 mag, 26' scarab 502, 550 hp., then 28 Pantera twin 496mags, 2004, 35 Executioner twin 496 ho's, and now the Gig.........

The Fountain was a 2004, 35 executioner ran 78 and occasional 80 when low on fuel and running real loose. The Pantera was a 2000 and ran 76 but the balance of the boat with the two big blocks is poor. You have to run tab in the boat to get it to run level or it was like a rocking horse. Solid boat though.
