-If you've gone through that many trannies on the stb side and the port is fine, I'd be inspecting the input shaft alignment. Does not matter who's trans you are running, if the input shaft alignment (bellhousing run-out) is not within spec the front bushing will build heat, resulting in pressure loss and burnt plates. Been there....
