Cockpit carpet - with "graphics". Where to get?

Does Cig make the cockpit carpet themselves or someone else?

I want to change the design in my carpet and want to know where to get it done. Also how much?

Please don't tell me to call Cig. I have emails and calls into Bud @ Cig, and I am waiting for a return call.

Thanks in advance.

Call Tres or Jackie at Tres Martin's shop they might be able to help with carpet.

I prefer no carpet.

Bill,
We have been using a company called R & R Textiles for quite some time and are quite happy with them. They now have a program for end users like yourself to have carpet made. Basically you make a pattern off the floor of your boat and send it to them. They will make the carpet based on your pattern and bind the edges, it will have a rubber backing so it will be a drop in piece and won't require snaps. Their website is "rrtextiles.com" .
Good luck.

Most canvas shops can fit carpet. That is where I have always had mine finished. I usually pick out what I want and take it to the shop and they fit it to the boat.

Just had the cabin finished.

I am looking for the very "custom" carpet that Cig does. Like graphics in the carpet. Will R&R do that?
Here is a pic of my cockpit. You can get an idea of what I am looking for.

I looked at a Cig at Lake Cumberland marine and it had a thick pad on the back side of the carpet, not you normal house pad but a 1/2" think white dense foam pad. It was nice for the feet. Is this standard for a Cig?

Mine doesn't have that. . . . . . . . . . . . yet. :D

I hopped into the boat from the swim deck and my feet hit the floor and it felt like a formal fining room carpet. I was very nice.

Re: Cockpit carpet

We have done plenty custom carpets with foam padding in the bottom. price increases for every color added. All we need is the old carpet for pattern and a drawing of what is designed.

Re: Cockpit carpet

my cockpit carpet has a 1" black foam padding under it...was going to nix it, but reconsidered and will keep it...only I am replacing the thick carpet with thin carpet......if it rains and the carpet gets wet, the thick carpet really soaks up the water and you slosh around as you walk......not good
