Re: Cigarette Hull Decals
I need decals that are larger than the ones the factory sells. Can they make the vinyl stickers custom to size? Has anybody replaced there vinyl stickers?

Re: Cigarette Hull Decals
Where do you get the Cigarette Stencil? Does the factory sell it?
|
Re: Cigarette Hull Decals
Harold will make it up. Just measure the width before you contact him. There are several differant sizes. Do you have the "hockey stick" graffics on the boat, if so what color.
Can you shoot a pic of the boat on this thread? |

Sweet!! Where do you boat out of/live Gripit?
That looks like a boat that was for sale in Missouri about a year and a half ago. I saw it on boat Trader recently for sale out of Joppa MD. Looks very nice!! Lets see some more pics! What Power? |

Thats right! I just bought the boat out of Joppa Maryland. Although its been here in Maryland for the last 7 years. I live in Annapolis, MD. The boat is in great shape with 420 HP's. Here are some more pics. Where are you from Craig223?

Re: Cigarette Hull Decals
Sweet!!! We live in Falls Church, VA and do most of our boating in the Potomac River. My wife likes to go up to the Bay and run the boat because the river is flat most of the time...boring. :D :D Give me a call if you have any questions or if I can help you out in any way. I took apart my cabin and put it back together last winter.
Cheers!! :drink: Craig Hall Work/cell) 202-224-5499 |

Re: Cigarette Hull Decals
Nice!
I would use the 2 contrasting colors. White and salmon against the begundy background. |

Evan
You came to the right place. We're all here to help and ask away. If you happen to know anyone looking for a Bullet, I have the '89 up for sale. I just finished restoration this year on that boat and shows like new. If you have tech questions feel free to call me as well. 516-380-9326, Stan |

Re: Cigarette Hull Decals
Evan, Look at cig pics in this forum post#151. The work of Harold.
|
Re: Cigarette Hull Decals
Stan, first, you boat looks awsome. Next, do you mean work of harold in the thread "Cigs let see them" post 151? I think that is the right one and that looks absolutly fantastic! How did you get hooked up with Harold? Do you live in NY or FL or Both?
|
Re: Cigarette Hull Decals
Evan, Yes, thats the thread, found Harold right here on OSO. I'm out here on Long Island and usually in Fl for a week during the winter for vacation.
As you can see the painted logo looks a bit better than the decal. The secret is to clear over paint to avoid fading over the years. Bet if you peeled back your decal you may find the cig factory painted it on as well. I found that same situation on the '88 Bullet. In the 1st before pic you can see the faded "salmon/pink" color. I painted over that with a deep red and also painted the darker grey from the transom that wraps up on the "hockey stick" to the bow. Being everything was disassembled off the transom it made the job alot easier. |

Re: Cigarette Hull Decals
echo signs in miami will make the paint masks for you. all you have to do is tell them what boat you have and they can tell you which masks you need. i have bought many from them. phone number is at office, call information. if you cant find the number let me know and i will find it for you.

Re: Cigarette Hull Decals
There is guy in FL. who can make what you want size color and at half the price. Air Dog knows who he is. Had him make some for cig decals that were blue, gold and some other color. They look great! You can find him on the Banana forum, he post there all the time.
