I have one for my 260 sonic. I live in Northern Virginia and it will keep the engine compartment at 40 most of the time. I have the smaller one and it is not enough on really cold days. I should have purchased the larger one.

Boatsafes Heaters' claim to fame is that they claim their heaters are safe for the engine compartment because it is designed to be not sparking. Therefore the heaters you buy for the home may not be appropriate for the engine compartment? What do you think?

Yeah, I goofed, but I do that once in a while. Don't buy the one from Target. There is a thread about this in Gen Disc.
