Explain these graphics
http://adcache.boattraderonline.com/6/2/0/73766720.htm
Has anyone ever seen this boat and do the graphic appear better in person ? The graphics look very busy in the photos. What would it cost to repaint a boat like this in solid white with Cigarette logos only ? ed |
Re: Explain these graphics
Why do you think the pictures were taken sideways? Hhhhmmmm.....

Re: Explain these graphics
This is why I like your boat so much. No clutter, simple basic graphics. Even if the colors don't appeal to a buyer they could repaint keeping the same layout.

Nothing on the Fountain. I did buy two rebuilt Bravo's from a board member today. So the boat wil have new seating, covers and the rebuilt drives plus spares.

I think they are sideways because the seller is not super computer savy. Looks like 35mm scanned in to me.

Re: Explain these graphics
This boat was in the slip next to me this year. It looks ok the name is "Close Encounters". Twin 600SC's I think the owner is selling for around 90K. Boat is nice. The graphics are not bad.

Last time they were selling that rig they had a bown-up alien doll in the drivers seat!

Re: Explain these graphics
That boat is pretty impressive in person. It was at our marina this summer. I agree it may look better without the space saucers but its unique and in real nice shape. I don't have a cigarette yet but I will have one some day and that boat was one I admired this summer. They are all great. I've seen some of the boats you guys have on this site. Awesome boats, some of those pictures became desktop background material. SBIRTLES are you at Greenwich Bay too?? I was wondering if that was your Baja on b or c dock... Nice boat!!! I am over on e....28 stryker. I just came out of the water wednesday.

Interesting, it appears the boat was relisted and the price raised from $94, 900 to $109,900. Must have been our discussion.

you can buy blow up alien dolls? ;) |
Re: Explain these graphics
I don't know that boat is SUPER clean but that paint job kind'a just kills it. And at the 95k they were asking before it was a good deal especially with the 525sc's...great motors but then again I'm biased about them! ;) :D

Re: Explain these graphics
Cosmetically undesirable. There have been a couple in the trader like that... great setup and running gear, but the graphics leave a little to be desired. I guess the money you save can be spent on wet sanding and buffing compound. :D
|
Re: Explain these graphics
The seller should spend a day with a bottle of compound and a buffer -
