TG Prices

See most of the same boats in the classifieds for the last 60 days or so..curious about TSTG's. I didn't get mine sold in time to jump on it but I understand a 2000 or 2001 TS went in the $175 range a few months ago but all of the current boats are $200+

Also what is going to happen to prices with the new 39's? I know the strait hull boats took a hit when the TS's came out. I know one of the boats has been there for over a year off and on.

I figure a boat goes down about $1K a month or about 12K a year with the exception of the first year and I figure that at about 15% then asl it gets about 10 years old then seems about half that around $500 a month if kept nice. Not an exact sience but a number I have been rolling around. I used it to see if I wanted to let mine go at one of the offer prices vs keeping it until spring.

So are you going to a T/S Gun or re-doing an older Top Gun?

haven't decided yet, going to run about $60 to redo one and then you still have a 10-12 year old hull...

I think the 2002 Top Gun at National Liquidators went for 175,000. It had 575's and a Myco trailer.

My friend is the manager and he told me $195k. I looked at the boat, it was nice and had everything we wanted. Oh ya, it went to Texas.

I was working with Bill Muller on the boat . I put in a bid of 170,000 and was waiting for acceptance or a counter offer. He emailed me that the boat was sold for 175,000. This all happened in a seven hour time frame. I am sure a south Florida boat dealer wouldn't lie.

Auctions and desperation sales do not set prices for resale.

I know of a TS that sold for $170k two years ago.
