Its a 2001 and I think it was sold by Martin Marine about 2 years ago. Any history would be appreciated.

I believe that he is out of town and away from a computer for a while. The fact that he has`nt posted by now should verify this. Bobby posesses a wealth of knowledge about cigs and we are fortunate that he is willing to share it with us from time to time.......Not to mention the fact that he is a pretty good photographer as well.

Bobby is on the left coast this week, he did take his laptop, I'm sure we'll hear from him later. He had a long day in the air. He went to visit my family , my sister has a blow boat, will he come home a sailor ? :D :D

Left coast, like California?? What part? And how long? I'll be back to Cali after xmas (in Hawaii now). If hes in So. Cal. I can get him out on a boat (Mine or a Cig...Whatever he prefers :drink: )

Hey Guys!

Just checking in. I left FL at noon and the plane was an hour late. I ended up getting into Cali around 5:30ish. Anyways, yes that is d-hlaw's old boat. He would probably be the best person to talk to. Worth 205k? No.

Well, enjoy your stay in SD. If I was home and you were closer I'd get you a ride. You may want to run down 'Havasu Cig', he lives in SD and runs his T/S in the bay all the time. Let him know you'll repay the ride, he'll take ya for a run. ;) :D

I'm not sure, I think the graphics on this 38 are great. I think i like the newer style graphics better but those sty;e graphics are everywhere now.

No, but the guy started out at like $239k, I couldn't believe no one snatched it up! I bet someone got a good deal. That was probably one of the best deals out there on a T/S Gun, but again, it had 500EFI.

Lipship had an older cigarette named "wired" for sale, I wonder if that boat was its replacement. What do you think a 02 with hp500's should sell for, all things being equal of course. A 2001 equipped the same way, no trailer. Other than the extra horsepower and torque whats the difference in the 525 and 500, is something forged rather than cast?

Two fantastic things about the 525EFI is the Smartcraft/Guardian system and the closed cooling. Those two items alone are worth a lot more than you would think.

As for T/S Guns with 525EFI's ..... heh heh .... I may have just what you need ... see my signature :cool:

Thats a great looking top gun. One of the boats I have now has a 496 with closed cooling and smartcraft. I know the 525 comes with it and I thought the hp500 came with it after 2001, closed cooling and smartcraft that is. What I was most curious about was the bottom end of the engine. whats the difference between the 525 and 500. Is your boat for sale? What year is it?
