I am only joking with you guys about putting a zul 800 in it.
It is my kids boat and Phil is putting a stock 496 in it for now maybe next year have zul do some work to it.
When my kid want to go fast he has dads gladiator :D :D

It is my kids boat
your kid must have deep pockets...has he actually done ANY work on HIS new boat? its gonna be a sweet ride when it done. do you think all the mods from the stock hull will hurt the value?

So far it seems to me that the "originality" requirements that have become all the rage with classic cars, have not spilled over to classic boats yet, except maybe the ole mahogany jobs. Looks, condition, and use seem to be all that matters.

Originality won't be a big issue in boats until people start buying them just to put in thier garage and say "look what I own" while never really driving them. We just ain't there yet, and may never be........ :D:D

What value? These projects are purely for the fun of it, not investments.

Got a project here too!!!! '74 second year they made em.... if we look there might be Don's DNA here. :D:D:D

Gonna clean it up and might sell it... might be moving on something else...
