Post some interior pics of your boat now if you have any. If never seen the inside of a Scuadron.

he works for Baja and does his own stuff on the side. I took him pictures of some top guns and told him thats the look I wanted.

Thrill, I didn't know your interior looked that good. Every other time I've seen it posted, it's had beer cans all over it. :drink:

I'm here in Ohio and looking to have an interior done. Can you send me a lead on how to get ahold of your interior guy?

Thanks!

Just call Baja and ask for Lane Carlisle

...advance warning Baja keeps him extremely busy I had to wait a little over 4 months for him to do the whole thing..I was a getting real pizzed about the wait until I went and picked up the boat..I was dumbfounded by the quality and attention to detail that went into the project. It was worth the wait IMO.

interior looks great so does the boat

Re: interior redo 27 squadron

cost of upholstry? In the Cig Pictures thread I posted a couple of pics of an 86 28' Cig. The upholstry needs redone. Cockpit only. The cabin looks showroom new as if it has never been used. Just curious on cost of the same cockpit upholstry as yours with the embroidery.

Re: interior redo 27 squadron

He did the whole project for 5k which covered building ever single piece new from scratch the old interior was completely hosed and unuseable he used that plastic lumber stuff to frame the engine hatch and rear bench, he also reglassed my engine hatch, added the full upholstered sides in the cockpit, new vinyl headliner and sidewalls in the cabin, and made new cabin cushions. Personally for the wuality if work that I got I think it was a hell of a deal considering the long wait. the oval patch on the engine hatch came from Cigarette...$525

You have a Squadron 27? Have you stood up behind the wheel? The windshield on mine barely comes up to my crotch. A stand-up bolster would be pretty scary.

I like the stripe design!! - fits that hull great. My interior is NOT the way I would go color, shape, and quality wise, but my seats sit lower than originals and are quite snug (comfortable). I like the high back bucket look on mine, but I think the original windsheild looks best with the low seats. I will redo mine when my kids get alittle older and are not so hard on it (6 & 8).

The originals had side panels that started from the top of the cockpit sides, and only went down 10 inches or so, a little lower than the dash. Someone put big hatches in the side of mine and it has no upholstered side panels. I plan on adding full side panels with holes/pockets where the hatches are now.

The original back seats curved around and down like the back seat of a 22 Donzi. Can't quite see, but it looks like your interior is the original style. The original hatch is pretty neat with the pad on each side. Mines been modified. More room, but not as unique....

Let me see if I can find more original type pics
