No fender holders and prop covers with Merc written on them....

That would of been a deal breaker for me.

Of course kidding... Conrats on graduating from a pro-shopper to a buyer!!!!! :D:D:D:D

Thank everyone, it is the old hollywood boat, 1998 Key West world champion.

Expresscat, nice talking with you at the dock, you cig is awsome, cant wait to see the cat some day.

GLH, shopping sucks, but its over for a while. The prop covers i want are for when we are anchored so no one cuts themselve (i hope they work) and i was thinking about butting the fender holders in the unfinished stern as the boat has very limited storage. what do you think.

As I mentioned I think in your other thread I keep mine under the rear seat with my anchor, spare fluids and cleaning rags. I like the look of my engine compartment looking like an operating room and would not put fenders back there for fear of any line or thing coming loose and getting caught in the pulleys. (plus fenders by the engines are gay!!!)

Keeping fenders up front seems...at least to me, far from the action... I can't see myself lugging fenders from the nose thru the cabin and to the cockpit and so forth.

I do a lot of boating by myself and dock by myself a lot... I like the convenience of the fenders being right behind me under the seat...Lift seat swing 3 fenders out with the 2 lines leav them on the back seat and hook everything.

It is also faster launching by yourself, not as much running thru the cabin.

Going under to fetch fenders will approaching a dock with traffic and all Tom,Dick&Harry's around in there boats last thing I want is be far from the helm. Just the way I do it.

Last, is those rigs are very weight sensitive and any weight in the nose slows them down, so when your going for speed keep the nose light. Of course on a normal week end we keep everything but the kitchen sink in the nose of ours...spare cooler, gear bags, towel bags, BBQ's... you name it!!!! All that gear you never need in a hurry unlike fenders, line and anchors.

Beer is in the cooler by the door!
