I had to dig alittle to find this picture. Was a VERY COOL boat and put a whoopin on the bigger OPEN boats back then for being a 32' Shown here running with Bob Kaiser / Errol Lanier in Gentry Turbo Eagle whom ended up on the beach at Ft Zach later that day. David Windmiller owned the boat from Brooklyn , NY.

Re: Gone Again Jelly Belly
I lived on Lake Tahoe about 4 years ago and Rick had just bought a house on the lake, and kept a 24-28 tunnel up there, but ususally ran the Talon. He and his son were ususally together running the Talon. The Talon after the 30,000 plus hours of rebuild is probably about the most impressive performance boat I have ever seen.

I found this thread looking up Gone Again. It just drove by on Tahoe.

I remember the Jelly Belly boat,...... at the races I would load up on their unlimited stash of jelly beans on the shelves, on the truck's rear door !!

Gone Again
Rick Bowling still owns it.
It participated in the Unleashed Poker Run on the California Delta the day before yesterday. I had hoped to get introduced to Rick, but we never came across him. I am trying to upload a couple of photos, but I am struggling with OSO. |
