I saw that one on craigslist Len , she looks ruff. It looks like it's been out in the weather for some time. When new they were a good boat. With as many boats for sale today I would think you could a more complete performance boat for a good price.

My Dad's throttle man had a 38' Signature. He said it needed A LOT of power to run a decent speed.

Default Signature Boats

I spent a good part of my childhood at the Signature plant on 188th. My father raced a 27 Signature in Production and later Modified class (1977 - 1981) The 38 Signature has the Bertram bottom with a little more freeboard and deck build up. Fast in its day 600 hp/ 482 c.i. motors and #3's it performend in the low 90's but with that bottom they were a handful. Here are a couple picture's of the 27 Signature "The Crazy Greek".

Yes thats it.

like you said its pretty wet, lots of work.

He sent me a bunch of pic's of it... looks like alot of work, no moters no drives

would it have been a race boat at anytime and were the 38ft set up as a 3 man as it looks pretty small for 2 bolsters and a rear couch area

who has pic's
