Thanks...yes it is steel but I haven't dunked the trailer in salt. I've been dunking in the Miami River (Brackish/Freshwater) which is a 30 minute ride out to Biscayne Bay...SUCKS.. but I want to be able to sell it so I can get an aluminum trailer.
Here is a pic from a few weeks ago. In the 90's I dunked a nice 4 year old steel trailer in the brackish of the South River off the chesapeake bay once or twice a week for 4 summers - I ended up giving it away it was so bad - when it was 8 years old - and I had a fresh water well at the ramp for rinsing off! Salt is salt, it doesn't seem to matter how much! |

http://www.performanceboats.com/html...1&d=1243743629 http://www.performanceboats.com/html...1&d=1243743629 I cleaned it up a bit by removing the bow rails. I think it looks much better without them. http://www.performanceboats.com/html...1&d=1244004326 http://www.performanceboats.com/html...1&d=1244004326 |

I love the old school stuff but, I am selling to make way for new...
I am selling my Sonic 33 SE - 1987 model. Here is the craigs list posting... http://nashville.craigslist.org/boa/1300544751.html |
I love this thread. love seeing all the old lines. every boat posted here is awesome, but I must say I think 24degrees 27 magnum takes the cake. that side shot of his boat has been on the desktop of my laptop since I first saw it. nice to see all the updates he has done. I love the inlay on the deck. thanks for everyone sharing the photos!
