Here is our Donzi 16' Ski Sporter from 1966...original green gel, original Eaton outdrive (with some new shafts, gears), 289 high performance engine (270 hp), balanced and built in 1966 by Dave Zueschel. Boat and Engine has about 300 hours total purchased new by my dad in 66 (his original registration is mounted in boat). Scotty Pierce of Cabo Marine in Woodinville Wa helped bring it back to great shape. We are planning more restoration this winter...seats, maybe paint, etc.
Had it out to the lake a week ago and runs great.

That is way past cool! Nice rig!

Triple Hatch. It's a classic Donzi but not a Donzi Classic.

John, the Condurre looks AWESOME!

Tripple XL, are you in Dry Branch Cove? If so, my Brother-in-Law, Mike, said he saw your boat and it is absolutely PERFECT. Gorgeous boat to be sure.

NEAT 43 Scarab!!! I hope it is in the water the next time I am over drinking a beer -- I may have to wipe off my drool!

Default Thanks

Thanks for the compliment. All of these boats are really neat to see being used and restored. Alot of them are great boats that have a lot of good times left in them.

I actually kept her under 100....Actually, I had no choice...The course was less than a half mile around ...and full of wakes and swells.
