Default Ratman...here is your new toy!!!

Here are some photos of Ratman's new toy. Back in the days when it was a working boat for a living.

In 1978 in it's very first race, the boat was clocked from the air at the end of the race, quote..."whistling over the Pacific Ocean swells at 94.3 MPH."

It led from start to finsh and won the 195.5 mile race.

I think you have a good chance of breaking 98 or so with Stecz's props.

I saw that thing run on the SF Bay when I was a kid. I loved the seeing "Real" offshore racing back then. Not like this nancy run-around-the-buoys racing they do now.

We're just heading out on the Bay this morning. Not too many stepped-n-padded boats like to run out there. Too rough for the tender bottom!

I'll take my old resin bucket wave crusher over a fast flat water lake boat any day.
