Who are the eighteen boats (of the 63 starters),of the first edition of the Bahamas 500,in the air shot below?
I'm reach to recognize only half.

You guys keep taunting me with this stuff, I was in the race with Gene Wagner 21` Seacraft twin 110hp mercs. Odell Lewis won in Mona Lou 32` Maritime at night, race started before sunrise or right at 582 statute miles with one stop for fuel in Naussau approx 5 min stop. we were the last to finish on the first day 8th overall first outboard, I think it was around 1:00 or 2:00 in the morning, I could tell the story of the event but is not enough time or paper, will be part of book, this was the second race starting out, first was 50 miler in St. Pete fla. I ran all the 500`s with many stories attached. I can name most ofd the boats. OMC had a major contingency there, few names come to mind, Peroni, Tuppens,Langer for OMC. Wishnick, O.Lewis, Rothchild, Ritmaster, Brownie, B. Cohen, Sirois, Bakus,Ridgell,Steinbeck, Ramsey, Strickland,. Sorry got to get back to my job.7XCHAMP
