Here is a picture of Herbott Racing Scarab that we won a National & World Title, many divisional Championship's. A Great Lakes Silver Cup Championship. And The APBA Hall of Champion's.

I've seen that boat at his dealership for several yrs now and always thought it looked like it was built like a tank, no flooring and such. Just been thinking lately that it may be a peice of past history and never knew it.

mike and i raced that boat, and yes it is a piece of history.

I don't know if it has been mentioned yet, but how about Ocean Spray from the mid to late nineties. They built a Scarab before switching over to Fountain.

Also, Augie Penza is currently campaigning a Scarab and Nigel Hook until a couple years ago was campaigning a Scarab.

That's the BABY!!! We placed 3rd overall that year against about 8-9 other " B " class boats. A lot of those boats where BIG dollar new technology including a new 39 Extreme we beat the pants off! :D
