The Glory Years in EBM
 

I just wanted to thank Charlie and HORBA for contributing to Extreme Boats Magazine. We've done a few old timer articles in the past and everyone seems to enjoy them so it looks like with Charlie's help, we'll do some more.

The new issue of EBM that is in the mail right now (Christmas issue) has the first of Charlie's stories. About an old Miami - Nassau race - The Glory Years.

There's also a feature on Billy Martin in the OPA - Ocean City MD race story.

I hope you all enjoy these articles as much as the story about Dry Martini.

Great article in there too about Billy Martin and his son racing "Bounty Hunter" this year in OPA...

Also you can see a teaser of the video of this race filmed by Phil Lewis (NNRT) in the video section here on OSO titled "1979 Bacardi Trophy Race". T2X & Darren (Big Seas LLC) will soon be re-releasing these videos in high quality DVD format and I encourage everyone to buy some - you will not believe the conditions these guys used to race in!
