Origin of DADDY COOL
HORBA is pleased to announce that DADDY COOL has been purchased by HORBA members, the Bochis family. John Bochis former owner and driver of Crazy Greek now has a new toy to play with.
They will be at the April gathering of old race boats in South Florida for sure. Does anyone out there know for sure what this boat started out as? It was the 7th 35 Cigarette built. That means it was built right after the Spirit/ Benihana 35. Was it Bounty Hunter? or Isis? |
Re: Origin of DADDY COOL
Will the boat be coming to NJ?? Maybe we can get John to run it in OPA along with Bounty Hunter.:D

Re: Origin of DADDY COOL
Dad says it was not a Bounty Hunter, but Roger Munn would know more specs on the boat. Hope this Helps

Re: Origin of DADDY COOL
Hey Jr. your pics look great in the mag!! How are you, pop, and those cute girls i met in OC???
i heard that the hull sat @ rogers shop in NJ for a brief period un rigged. and someone came to roger asked about it and Mr. Munn rigged it and raced with the person. i wish i knew more. I would hate to be putting out bad info, but that is the story i was told from the locals when i brokered the boat a few years ago but it didnt sell then, owner wanted to keep it... best and happy new year!
