Can anybody tell me - was this beast made of wood or alloy? I can't quite decipher!

Aluminum. It was later stretched to become the 50' Gentry that has been around these pages lately.

Finally in Classic Offshore we re-talk about the Offshore Classic!:food-smiley-007: However Brownie, this appears to be just a 50' like in post 123...and I think it was on wood. Richie can tell us something about it. http://www.offshoreonly.com/forums/s...ry#post2408945 |
There was another Cougar with central cockpit for Gentry.
It was In aluminium and made him debut in the first race of the Viareggio's Finals in 1984 WC,then totally missed. http://www.offshoreonly.com/forums/s...&postcount=573 |
