I am not sure if this intrests anyone here or if there is any history but I saw it and have already picked up an old race project. Any one know if this boat has any history.

So the ad says it's a 30', '86 Cig, but it doesn't look like a Cig to me. The propulsion is unusual looking as well. It appears to be a single motor through a powerglide. The ad says it was an offshore race boat. Any guesses, stories?

And a few more, sorry if this seems like a thread hijack, but it was sort of on topic...

Last one. I don't have any association with the boat. I just thought a v-drive off shore boat (from the mid - 80's) was a bit strange, or interesting, depending on your perspective.
