Yes, the advertisers along with my partner Chris, took us to bankruptcy, and we retired into our shells, too embarrassed to face the community-our friends!

We do miss the "OLD" days and have heard of the drastic changes that have come about in the sport. Have often considered writing a book, but offshore doesn't need any more negativity, and unfortunately, it all turns unfortunate.

Big Wav...how the H--- are you old buddie. Gawd, since this thread was started we have received a number of phone calls and emails from some of the community...since the bankruptcy, unfortunately we became obscure...one one couple stayed in touch with us, although every XMas we get a card from Tom and Delane...otherwise we have been lost and forgotten.
So nice to hear, see, write to old friends!

Capt Bill you shure scared us Back in the day at the Quake On The Lake, at Metro Beach. Great to here that You and Diane are doing well. You guy's always did a Great job of covering the Sport, and us EASTERN EXPRESS. I remember the look on your face the day we took you over to our engine builder Katech, you should see that place now.
