7xchamp,
Any chance you could scan those articles of the broken boat and the crew etc? Would be a great read. I live on the marina in St Kilda were the boats were all launched. http://stkildaboatsales.com.au/st-kilda-marina |
I read on this forum once that Nordskogs 35 was spotted in the bahamas with outoards on it ferrying people from island to island.
If that is true sad end for it. |
I just had a call from one of the offshore guys named Antony De Fina, he spoke to an Australian guy called Tony Lowe who use to build Cigarettes under licence here. Tony said it is not slingshot, but one that he built. It was a raceboat in the late 70's.

Richie I agree totally that the knuckle on the side of the hull makes it appear like a 35. The only problem I have is that the distance from the screen to the bow seems way longer than a normal 35 - perhaps it's the angle of the photograph that just makes it look much longer than a 35 in my mind.
