Someone just forwarded us the discussion on us. Thank you. Words cannot describe how swell it made both of us feel, being reminded of how we have served the racing community.
Yes, the advertisers along with my partner Chris, took us to bankruptcy, and we retired into our shells, too embarrassed to face the community-our friends!
We are alive and well, still in Lantana, Florida.

We do miss the "OLD" days and have heard of the drastic changes that have come about in the sport. Have often considered writing a book, but offshore doesn't need any more negativity, and unfortunately, it all turns unfortunate.

Thanks for all the adjustments - way back when.
You might like to know that I am adjustment free these days. Don't know whether all those out of place bones have knitted together or just that since all the knocks of offshore have stopped everything's staying in place.

Ahoy Bill! Pleasant surprise seeing your voice. Glad to hear you & Diane are well. Times hav' a changed up here in the tundra since the glory days....we put Mopra / Lscora to rest in '05 and lost Martin P a year earlier. Most of the Michigan wrecking crew still lurking about..........

Big Wav...how the H--- are you old buddie. Gawd, since this thread was started we have received a number of phone calls and emails from some of the community...since the bankruptcy, unfortunately we became obscure...one one couple stayed in touch with us, although every XMas we get a card from Tom and Delane...otherwise we have been lost and forgotten.
So nice to hear, see, write to old friends!

Well HEY, Steve, and Mike too. Dang it's so good to hear from you folks again. Got a quickie land line from the Freeze man tonight. Between the emails and phone calls, it's really Christmas.

Capt Bill you shure scared us Back in the day at the Quake On The Lake, at Metro Beach. Great to here that You and Diane are doing well. You guy's always did a Great job of covering the Sport, and us EASTERN EXPRESS. I remember the look on your face the day we took you over to our engine builder Katech, you should see that place now.
