Marco and others I am glad you enjoyed my efforts. Key West changed and redirected my life.

Thank you and your welcome.

Right on the money about the rams. One less thing to break. I remember talking to a few people who thought it was nuts, but it worked. Were you racing back then? Those were deifinitely the good old days. Too many characters to count. At the awards ceremony, we had John Wayne's daughter at our table and Lydia Cornell from Too Close for Comfort. I was just a kid, and totally starstruck.

It was my first year. i didn't know it existed before then. I returned the following year and helped my friend Art Lilly race the Joker a stock B boat. I returned a dozen times or more since. I first raced there in 94 and again in 98. I am looking forward to going this year.

Having all those Euro boats here was so cool .
One year the chef of an Italian team asked me for a t- shirt . I brought him some , he invited us for dinner and the rest is history , what a blast !

Hey MOBILEMERCMAN. Do you have any pics from Marothon back in 88 or 89? Im trying tp find some pics of my Uncles old B-12 boat "Wet Willie." They had a pretty elaborate spin out there one of those years.

Hey Jim.... Recall the "Joker" boat well , as we got our azz handed to us by Art! Thinking it was 85', out of Kent Narrows. At the time, I had been helping Sam Coleman wrench his 20' Cig "Invictus". Damn... time flies!

DareDevil 09-14-2008 10:13 AM

Jim ,
do you have any pictures from MR.ZIP or Bad News Travels Fast, maybe Risky Business the Aerotek ?
Raced from 1992-1999 I think.

Scott

Time does fly. We used to play HARD.

Sorry Guys I missed a bunch of years in the early nineties. I will go thru my piles and scan more programs and such after this race season.
