Donzi Corsican
2 Attachment(s)
The last one I found was chopped up and turned into and outboard fishing boat with a chainsaw. I'm hoping to save this if it is one.
How can I tell if it is a donzi or a cobalt. I figure maybe Brownie can help. Ernie |

That paint (gel?) says Cobalt to me......

no doc ?

what are the hull reliability / layup differences between the cobalt and the donzi? I'm pretty sure it is not a donzi from my research tonight the cobalts were panited like this one and on the donzi's the whole side is painted to the first strake the cobalt goes about halfway down the hullsides

cobalt (different model) vs donzi
I can't find a profile view of a gt-500 (cobalt's corsican) |
I'd say definitely Cobalt. Put some Donzi stickers on it. Who would know the difference?
|
cobalt definetly cobalt
from what I have heard the cobalt copies were pretty well made. how much of a copy is it ? topspin have you seen the boat in person?? the corsican had lockers on each side under the grab rail does this cobalt have them?? can't tell from the pics looks like the original motor is it a holman moody?? if it is the serial number can give you some kind of time frame on the boat |
it's worth saving no matter who built it...

The A**hole sold the boat and never even returned any of my phone calls. I'm pretty sure I was his first call it came up on craigslist minutes before i called.
